Ivaylo Lefterov
Development Director
Svart Hotel (Svartisen, Norway)

Ivaylo Lefterov is the Development Director of Svart Hotel (Svartisen, Norway), the world’s first energy positive hotel, at the foot of the Svartisen glacier, just above the Arctic Circle.

Svart is the first building to be built after the energy positive Powerhouse standard in a Northern climate. Not only does this new hotel reduce its yearly energy consumption by approximately 85% compared to a modern hotel, but it also produces its own energy.

Ivaylo is a Development Director for this project on behalf of MIRIS (the developer) overseeing the entire design and development process of the project between Snohetta the architects and all related disciplines including the selection and development of the operational plan with the future management company.
